UNSEEN LDN is a tribute to running as identity, community and quiet defiance—set against the pulse of the city. This edition spotlights the strength of runners participating both individually and through London’s running collectives Ultra Black Running and Club99. To understand the running community in London, one must understand the important work that running collectives do in redefining the sport through inclusivity and belonging.

This isn’t about finish times—it’s about real moments of struggle, joy and solidarity.

As a runner themself, Greta captures the raw energy of race prep: the perseverance, the euphoria, the rhythm of each step. Focused on femme and queer-identifying runners, the series celebrates those who run not for medals, but for meaning.

About the artist

Greta Graf, originally from Berlin, studied at the Ostkreuz School of Photography and now lives in London. Their work blends storytelling and activism, centering marginalized voices. A marathoner themself, Greta has raced in Berlin, Chicago, and New York—earning two medals in their age and gender category.
